Editor Wanted North West/East/Borders to Complete Lo-Fi Comedy Horror
- Good story
- Positive family environment
- Realistic humour (ie natural), with some OTT moments
- Potential franchise
- Lo-fi project
- Inexperienced actors & crew (on the main)
- Poor record keeping
- Clumsy shots
- Some SFX might need collaborating on
- Sound hit & miss
In essence, it is a compelling story with a good heart. Funny but, when the story gets going, horrific in places.
Ideal candidate would be someone that wants further experience and who has a really good feel for comedic timing, suspense and doesn't feel the need to cut everything like a Top Gear episode. Let the film breathe a bit.
We went to Cannes in 2014 to test out the market and, due to the unique idea, there was a lot of interest. Will be taking the completed project back there so, potentially, it could lead on to other things. The story, theme and characters have the scope to continue as a franchise.
Expenses met. No salary as such so any payments would be negotiated depending on experience etc. Another option is to become part of the co-operative and own a piece of the film.
If you fancy a chat about it, drop me an email and we can meet up.
Audition / Rehearsal / Production datesWould love to get this released in 2019.
