Casting Call for The Cursing (Indie Feature Film)

A horror film follows Ivy, a disenchanted millennial who fall under the charm of a coven of forest witches. As she becomes increasingly disillusioned with the modern day world, she wishes to join the ancient witches, ultimately having to offer her lover as a violent sacrifice to the coven as her initiation.

Themes: Prejudice, Love, Sacrifice, Disillusionment, Self-Actualisation

Character:

IVY (20-30)(f), our attractive lead who wishes to join the coven

ALEX (20-30), Ivy’s lover who could be cast either male or female

VANN (50+)(f), the queen of the witches coven

Also casting other members of the coven, along with other minor male and female roles
