Male Actor Required to Play Narcissist Self Help Guru
In reality, he is a narcissistic and deluded individual who gains validation by ordering others around.
For this role, it's important to have a good range and pace of speaking. Importantly Arthur will need to appear enlightened and thoughtful on his self help CD and callous and petty whilst on screen. Voice training would be a big plus as this role will require both on screen acting (one scene) and a voice-over tape - to be recorded at UWS Recording studio in Ayr.
This is a student production for the MA Filmmaking course at UWS.
This role is UNPAID - but TRAVEL and FOOD will be provided throughout production.

Arthur is self-righteous to the point of being abusive. He maligns his wife Ann and causes scenes in public. His dysfunctional personality is masked by the calm personality of his CD which focuses on the importance of structure and self-help.
You will only be required for one day of filming and a day of recording.
