GENERAL INFORMATION
An amazing tribute to the Queen of Soul, produced by Adrian Grant for Key Entertainment (co-producer THRILLER LIVE), and with musical direction from Stephen Hussey (Urban Soul Orchestra). The initial RESPECT concerts will feature outstanding vocals from West End Sensation and Olivier Award Winner Amber Riley, R&B Royalty Mica Paris, Pop Star Cleopatra Higgins, and Soul Legend Jaki Graham, accompanied by the incredible Urban Soul Orchestra and the incomparable voices of the London Community Gospel Choir. Cast for later UK tour to be announced.
The two-hour production will take you on a nostalgic musical journey packed with over 24 of Aretha Franklin’s greatest hits including Think, I Say A Little Prayer, Do Right Woman, Bridge Over Troubled Water, Natural Woman, Son Of A Preacher Man, Respect and many more!

Initial concerts 23rd, 24th and 25th March 2019
Tour rehearsals 10th – 13th September 2019
UK Tour (approx. 56 dates) from mid September – end November 2019

Venues : Initial concerts Birmingham Alexandra, Edinburgh Playhouse, Hammersmith Eventim
Then UK Tour dates from September – end November

Charismatic diva singer with excellent soul/pop voice and range with a real feel for the Aretha Franklin material.
Must be black/ African Caribbean /dual heritage.

Playing age approximately 21-45

Females, aged 21 to 45 from London, UK

  • Vocal ability: Lead singer

FEMALE BACKING SINGERS

THREE FEMALE BACKING SINGERS
MARCH DATES AND UK TOUR DATES – must be available for both legs of the tour
All will need excellent pop/soul voices with a real feel for the Aretha Franklin material. Will cover leading roles.
Must be black/ African Caribbean /dual heritage.

MALE SINGER/M.C.

MARCH DATES AND UK TOUR DATES – must be available for both legs of the tour
Charismatic performer with excellent versatile soul/pop voice and good range. He will be the MC for the evening – also provides links between songs and must be comfortable with direct address to audience. He will also sing a number of duets in the show.
Must be black/ African Caribbean /dual heritage.
Playing age approx 30-50
