The Foley Artist - Lead Antagonist
Timothy Dumas, a sad eyed middle aged man, is a character with little emotion. Though much like Patrick Bateman in "American Psycho", he not only fakes his emotions, but also seems to buy into his own lie. In reality he is a man without empathy who is solely looking to capture the perfect sound recordings to maintain his title as one of the world's greatest Foley Artists (a specific type of Sound Recordist).
Males, aged 25 to 40
Jack Thompson - Lead Protagonist
Jack Thompson is a bright eyed kid, looking to make his way in the film industry by studying under his idol, the world's greatest Foley Artist, Timothy Dumas. Jack is the artsy-student type, but still has an air of maturity about him, as if his excitability and exuberance is offset by an understanding of the world.
Males, aged 18 to 30
The Producer - Supporting Role
An authoritative figure, The Producer is there to highlight all that is wrong with people in power. The character appears to be interested in the work, but truly only cares about the eventual money that will be brought in. This person should look and be quite mature and be able to pull off a very complex emotional palette that mixes a façade of lighthearted caring with a stern, cold and dead-eyed inner being.
