Male & Female Required for Short Film

Male & Female Required for Short Film

Wellington, NZ
Listed by View details

We are producing a short film called "Saving H2O". We are currently still in pre-production and won't start shooting until April/May. We've already spent a considerable amount of time and resources with pre-production. This is a student run project so our resources are rather limited, but we have a large crew and are still raising funds.

Shooting will occur mostly in the Wellington area, a few locations are about 30 minutes out. So living nearby is definitely key, though we have a couple cars and can provide transportation.

The film is a "post-apocalyptic" film, though I hesitate saying that as I think these kind of films are heavily overdone and tend to be a little corny or just donwright shotty work. The goal of this film is to submit it to a number of eco film festivals, as the film has a central "green" message. The story is pretty basic, but just reminds us of how special the world is and asks how we could let the world get so far out of control.

We're trying to have everything ship-shape ready so that you don't have to commit for too long. So we should be able to get all of the shots done in about two weeks. We will tryt to fit that around your schedule, however it will need to be done sometime between April 21-May 21.

Once you apply we will send you a character profile, character monologue, and the script. (The script is entirely V.O. so the monologue is just a way for us to test your acting prowess.)

The work is unpaid, we're students afterall, but we have some funds for food and we think we have a good shot at winning/being screened at a few film festivals.
