Griffith Film School students creating a series of advertisements for Big Brothers Big Sisters to encourage males to volunteer as "Big Brothers".
The auditions and shoot will all be Brisbane based.

A series of four ads (to be distributed online), following children as they "test" adults who are wanting to become Big Brothers or Sisters through a talent show, a detective style interrogation, a job interview, and a science testing lab. More details will be provided upon expression of interest for an audition.

Really looking for diversity and a strong group of people to carry these advertisements. We want to
show that everyone can be a mentor as long as you have the right qualities and that there are
many different children that need the service.

Shooting: 17th & 18th October

All minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Job payment

Unpaid – this is a collaboration opportunity

Collaborations should create mutual benefit and are usually amateur, student or 'Time for Print' projects.

The Child Judges

Confident Open Emotive Experienced Works well with other children (from 7-15yr olds) & adults Judges on a panel, testing adults to find out whether they are suitable to become Big Brothers or Sisters. They will judge on a Talent Show, be detectives in an interrogation, be managers in a job interview, and scientists for testing the adults' abilities. Depending on the number of applicants, the children may do 2 of the 4 ads, or they may be required for all 4.

Anyone, aged 7 to 15

  • Acting experience: Extra, Previous unpaid speaking roles, Previous paid speaking roles
