NSW Health and Training Institute (HETI) develop and coordinate the delivery of NSW health education and training programs. Peers and Players are providing actors of different ethnic backgrounds for their educational video training. Actors will play specific roles for the training and development of key staff members.

Shoot date: May 30 or 31 (yet to be confirmed)
Location: RPAH, Camperdown
Call time: Yet to be confirmed

Actor fees:
- $175 pr hr per actor, minimum call 2.5 hours.

Costumes: Actors to provide their own wardrobe and makeup, except the nurse who will have a uniform supplied.

Scripts will be sent those actors who fit the brief.

Paid - $175 per hour - min 2.5 hours


George (Patient) - Caucasian, overweight

60-year-old, retired, ex-council driver. Education: School Certificate. Married with 2 adult children. Smoker. Overweight. Diabetic. Past history of schizophrenia. Caucasian. Rural/country type. Defers to wife and views of other experts.

Male, aged 55 to 65

  • Acting experience: Previous paid speaking roles - Any
  • Ethnicity: White / Caucasian

59-year-old wife to George. Education: HSC. Worked as receptionist briefly after school. Homemaker after having children in early 20s. Anxious about husband’s poor general health. Caucasian. Rural/country type. Primary carer and domestic decision maker.
