Event: The Australian LGBTI Awards 2017
Where: Opera Point Marquee, Sydney Opera House
When: Thursday 2 March @ 6:30pm
Required: Female Models/Actors, Stage Assistants, Photographers and a Cinematographer
After the success experienced at the Britain LGBT Awards for the last 7 years, Australia is hosting the first ever Australian LGBTI Awards for 2017. This is a red carpet event, celebrities, media and paparazzi will be attending.
We require some VOLUNTEERS to be apart of this exclusive, sold out event. A professional manner and previous experience in events is imperative; this is not an event for those beginning in the industry. We need the following...
A couple photographers that are willing to take photos during the awards ceremony and then show a selection of them at the event's after party.
We required a cinematographer with their own equipment to take footage over the duration of the event to then be used as promotional material for future years of the Awards.
2 reliable and professions females ages from 18-27 please - do not apply if you are out of this age range. Needed to be on stage to hand award and envelope of each category to the presenter who will then announce the winner. Will need to be dressed in elegant black tie (think Oscars) with hair and make up done.
STAGE MANAGER ASSISTANTS
4-6 volunteers to assist the stage manager - your main job will be going through the guest tables and getting the celebrity/public figure who needs to come up on stage next. Naturally, you must be strictly professional in this role - you are not allowed at any time to ask celebrities for autographs or selfies etc.
Please apply if you believe you would be suited to this event.
Unpaid – this is a collaboration opportunity
Collaborations should create mutual benefit and are usually amateur, student or 'Time for Print' projects.
