I’m Louise, I am a presenter and music journalist. I consider myself very knowledgeable in the field of music and various genres. I have been presenting within the music industry since for 6 years. Since starting my own music blog in 2012 and starting a youtube channel in 2015, I have interviewed over 120 artists at various gigs and festivals. Whilst doing this I was picked up by BBC Wales whilst studying at University in Cardiff to host interviews with various names at festivals and events and I have since interviewed Friendly Fires, Edith Bowman, Gaz Coombes and more for the station. I have also video interviewed some of the hottest emerging talent from the likes of Shame, The Blinders, Fontaines D.C, Fickle Friends, The Academic and more.
I have worked hard to make a career out of presenting and have picked up work freelancing for various other businesses including the BBC, Reelhost, Niche Lane, O2 Academy TV & more. The work I have picked up is all down to my personal presenting style which has been very attractive to many employers and companies who instructed me in pre-production to bring my upbeat style and personality in-particularly to the production.
I have developed my research skills through personal hard work and graft. I aim to be precise and to dig deep during my interviews to come up with alternative questions which the artists may have not been asked before. This is something I have been praised on by their PR agents, Management and the artists themselves.
I am also a comedy actress for a new online channel with the BBC called BBC SESH and I like to inject a light hearted atmosphere into my interviews and create a relaxed conversational environment to make them unique and engaging.
