She trained with The Young Canadians School of Performing Arts and the Mount Royal University's Vocal Academy in Canada. She has taken part in the Calgary Stampede Grandstand Show as a singer, dancer, and recording artist, and held lead and supporting roles in stage productions of Grease, Little Shop of Horrors, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Beauty and the Beast.
