If you are based in Perth and fancy giving modelling a try, the good news is that you don’t necessarily have to get on a plane to Sydney to make it happen. Some of Australia’s top modelling agencies are based locally, and they need fresh, diverse, fabulously beautiful people just like you! Here’s all you need to know about finding a top Perth agency to help kickstart your modelling career…
Established in 1976, Chadwick Models is Australia’s largest (and some might argue most successful) modelling agency. These top tier bookers guided 16 year old Adut Akech go from modelling newbie to one of the world’s leading models, collaborating with brands such as Givenchy and Chanel while also signing multi-million dollar contracts with Victoria’s Secret and Estee Lauder. Kerching!
Chadwick’s got a big name book too, having nurtured talent such as Elle McPherson, Travis Fimmel and Rachel Hunter. They have offices across the country—in addition to Perth, they have bases in Melbourne and Sydney, boasting a worldwide reputation for campaign and editorial work. Chadwick models are often seen on the catwalks of Alexander McQueen, Miu Miu and Prada.
More recently, Chadwick has also moved into managing social media influencers such as Steph Claire Smith, Laura Henshaw, Dan Brown, and Elisha and Renee Herbert. The Perth office also has a modelling academy, established in 2003, which offers training programs for young aspiring models.
Submission policy: Submit via email to your nearest Chadwick office, including your contact details, measurements, and a couple of recent snapshots (not exceeding 2 MB total). Women must meet the minimum height requirement of 5’8” or 173 cm; males should be 6’0”" or 183 cm.

Top Australia modelling agency Vivien’s Models launched in Sydney in 1967. It’s now the second-longest established agency in the world—and its Perth office, which opened in 1996, is bustling and ready for your submission.
Vivien’s Models remains a family run and owned business with offices in four Australian states. They run regular model searches for new fresh faces. As they say, they’re always looking to launch a “virtual unknown into model superstardom.”
Top talent nurtured by the agency includes Courtney Eaton, Gemma Ward and Jessica Gomes. Vivien’s has a strong reputation across Australia and worldwide, helping many clients transition into significant acting roles. Like other top agencies, they’ve also moved into managing social media influencers, enabling their talent to maintain consistent careers after what otherwise might have been fifteen minutes of fame.
Submission policy: Perth runs books for men, women, classic and curve models. Submit via email to your nearest Vivien’s office, including contact details, measurements, and a couple of recent snapshots (not exceeding 2 MB total). Women must meet the minimum height requirement of 5’8” or 173 cm and be between 14 and 20 years old; men should be 6’0” or 183 cm and at least 16 years of age.
You can also visit an office for an in-person assessment (no appointment needed) on weekdays between 10 o’clock to 12 o’clock or between 14 o’clock and 16 o’clock. Wear little or no makeup, and bring a couple of recent snapshots of yourself, printed or on a USB drive.

Scene Model Management was founded in 1997 and is based in Perth, Melbourne, and Sydney. They’re on the lookout for new talent, or in their own words, “a large variety of faces and beautiful minds”—which might mean you!
Scene mainly works nationally, and has had significant success in scouting and landing top Aussie modelling talent. The agency works in commercial and editorial, and has boards focusing on men, women and juniors. They also accept submissions from older and bigger aspiring models, when compared with other agencies.
The Perth booking team is led by general manager Anthony Harden. Their western Australian outpost is also home to Scene’s casting team, which focuses on finding commercial film & TV work for their models in Perth “and beyond!” They accept all kinds of models from any part of the world, offer workshops and seminars to help their models develop strong skills and knowledge of the fashion industry.
Submission policy: If you want to get seen at Scene and are above 175cm (women) or 183cm (men), get in touch with them via their website here, which provides helpful reference photos for submission. They also keep tabs on the insta hashtag #bescene, if you want to use your socials to get scouted.

Harvey James Management was founded by former model Jade Taylor in 2016 in Tasmania. She moved the headquarters to Perth in 2020, pursuing the western city’s abundance of undiscovered talent.
HJM focuses on commercial models, repping men and women. Their clients collaborate with big global brands and walk runway shows, as well as working more event focused gigs, such as trade expos and race days.
At the launch of her first Perth model search, Taylor told the PerthNow website, “I am really passionate about providing a platform for aspiring models who live in the outer states of Australia, who may not get the opportunity to apply for work like other models do in Melbourne or Sydney. ”
Submission Policy: Jade herself invites you to join her on a halfhour free assessment call via zoom. We’d suggest giving the agency a call first on +61 450 290 883. Alternatively you can email the office using agency@harveyjamesmanagement.com.au or jade@harveyjamesmanagement.com.au to reach out to Jade directly.
