I have appeared as an actor and supporting artist for TV, commercials and movies, in the UK and internationally.
My most recent on screen appearances has been as a walk-on role for the new Barclays Moneyverse TV commercial and I was the lead in a student short film "Where Were You in 1991".
I appeared in Beaver Falls, Season 2 Episode 1 as Chip, the Redneck bar guy who befriends the lead, Barry (John Dagleish) and then ends up in a bar brawl - I had to do an American Accent and did all my own stunts for the fight scenes.
I have also appeared in local South African TV and films - Goba Msenge (TV show - African version of Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew, I was Mervyn, the wealthy Jewish guy) & Dollars and White Pipes (local movie - where I appeared as a snooty car salesman). I have received IMDB credit for these rolls.
I also appeared as the lead in numerous local and international TV commercials for Scandic, Powerplay, Carling Black Label Beer, BP, National Lotteries Ireland, Suave Shampoo, BP, Aeroflot, Vodafone (Worldwide & Italy), On The Tools (Online) & Barclays Moneyverse (Featured Walk On)
My acting and some of the ads can be seen on my showreels.
I have been performing as a professional stand-up comic since 2001 (www.markpalmercomedian.co.uk) - I have written, directed & performed in 3 very successful one-man stand-up shows. I now perform stand-up across the UK and internationally and perform regularly as a headliner, host and opener. I have appeared on Comedy Central as one of their featured comics. I work regularly for Princess Cruises, Cunard, Holland America and Carnival Cruise Lines, performing regularly all over the world. I have appeared on stages in England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Malta, Belgium, Czech Republic, South Africa, Canada and the USA.
