Jonnys Place: June 2013- present
I wanted to improve and learn more skills from others whilst working in a busy salon, I chose London as I thought there would be more opportunities to learn and create more extreme styles and keep up to date with what is fashionable in the world of men’s hairdressing.
Competition work: September 2012- present
I have entered various photographic competitions where I needed to complete the total look, hair, makeup and styling. I entered the American Crew Face Off Competition 2012 and made it through to the UK finals.The most recent was for Hairdressers Journal.
Comberemere Barracaks: June 2012- present
Barbering one day a week at the barracks steadily building up a clientele, ensuring that I create styles that are suitable for their nature of work.
Raw Linx: : March 2012- present
Working alongside Raw Linx a company, who produce music videos for new, up and coming artists. I have had to create a various looks and use special effects on some occasions. I have also helped with input on suitability for the makeup designs for some of the projects.
Short Cuts: September 2011- November 2011
Working alongside Short Cuts Company creating suitable make-up images to compliment avant garde hairstyles, whilst having some input in how the total looks are completed. I was also given the opportunity to complete my own look which I was given full reign over the whole image from colour and cut to make-up and styling, my only guideline was to ensure the look fitted in with the Short Cuts trademark.
Chicago Rock Café: April 2004-present Working on the bar, duties include general maintenance of the bar, cash and stock handling, restaurant experience and offering customers a high standard of customer service.(Took five months sabbatical to work abroad from May till October).
Rush: October 2010- July 2011
Trained up to the level of a Rush Director, continuing to develop my skills in all aspects of hairdressing and customer service skills, building up a good client base whilst offering clients the highest level of advice to my ability which was continuously improved with ongoing training.
Headmasters- Fashion show: September/October 2010
Working alongside the Headmasters Pro-Artistic Art Team, for which I had to understand and follow specific requirements to help compliment and complete the overall looks required for the models, ensuring I worked to a time schedule and that a high level of Health and Safety was followed at all times.
Jericho Hairdressing: January2010- September2010
Working as a stylist building up a good client base, whilst working as part of a team and helping out with other aspects within the salon, such as reception duties, the maintenance of the health and safety of the salon and any customer enquiries.
