Q&A with Patrick Brammall!

Patrick needs no introduction. He has developed a stellar career in Australia that is only gone from strength to strength. A truly versatile actor, Patrick will grace prestigious stages such as STC and Belvoir, then take a detour to perform in some of Australia’s funniest shows (Upper Middle Bogan, A Moody Christmas), star in dramatic thrillers such as Glitch and then take on heavy hitting roles such as playing Rupert Murdoch.
In addition to acting, Patrick Brammall is also an acclaimed writer and producer. No Activity created by Trent O’Donnell and himself is now on CBS with stars Will Ferrell and Jessica Alba. He has also written on A Moody Christmas and ABC’s An Elegant Gentlemen’s Guide to Knife Fighting.

He has won two AACTA Awards (Best Actor in a Comedy for No Activity and A Moody Christmas). He was also nominated for an AACTA for his work in Ruben Guthrie and The Little Death. He was nominated for a Writers Guild Award for his episode of A Moody Christmas and he for a Silver LOGIE for Best Lead Actor in Glitch.

He is now forging a career in Hollywood appearing on shows such as New Girl, Life in Pieces and Overlord.

Patrick is in Sydney shooting the new season of No Activity and has taken some time to sit and chat with SAC Founder Chum Ehelepola about his career, plus answer those burning questions you may have.
