Ozzie picked up his first guitar when he was five years old, a ‘67 Fender Strat he got for Christmas, which he still has. Raised in So. Cal., he has played venues such as The Shrine Auditorium, The Belly Up Tavern, The House of Blues, The Coach House, The Whiskey, the Troubadour, and Gazzarri’s, among others, and has recorded in famous studios including Bolic Sound and Sony. He has appeared on television in the U.S. and abroad. Ozzie is a veteran in the tribute scene, having played for national Rolling Stones and the Cure tributes but handles the role of Tom Petty expertly. Being a HUGE TP&TH fan, he’s seen the band perform live hundreds of times, starting with the ’78 New Year’s Eve concert at Santa Monica Civic Auditorium.
