I was trained at the Bristol Acting Academy Showcase course (1 year part time) working out of the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. I have been trained in the Stanislavski system of acting, voice, movement and singing. I have received theoretical and performance instruction from Course Director Gary Owston (Senior Voice & Dialect Coach at BOVTS). Other instructors from whom I have received and practiced acting skills are Pamela Rudge (Head of Music and Singing at BOVTS), Toby Hulse (Improvisation at BOVTS), Jonathan Howell (Head of Dance & Movement), Lynette Erving (former Head of Voice at BOVTS) and Clare Fox (Dance Teacher at Footlights Performance Academy and BOVTS). I am currently rehearsing for AR Gurney's play The Cocktail Hour which will be at the Alma Theatre 02-07 Oct 2017. I had the lead male role in Reason, a short film by Kling Films, as well as the role of a corrupt policeman in the feature film Accepting Her (StrongEye Productions). I had a non-speaking walk on role as an FBI agent in the film Show Dogs (released Nov 2017). I do regular detailed and complex scripted meetings as a Roleplayer for Foreign & Commonwealth new entrant Diplomats with roles ranging from foreign and domestic interlocutors to Senior Diplomats, Law Enforcement Officers and UK Civil Servants. In the past I have toured with the Royal Marines School Visiting Team with the lead role in a play about careers in the Naval Service given to 6th Form pupils. I had the lead role as Guido Fawkes in the stage play Guy Fawkes and was in the Richard Leggett Theatre Company as a teenager.
