I have been a Lead Singer for almost 20 years performing under the name of Big Mama Funk with various bands, including my own - The Funkstars. My most memorable factors are my stage personality, powerful, soulful vocals and interaction with the crowd. I have performed to crowds of 1 - 100,000's in the UK, Europe and Worldwide. I love to sing anything soulful and have recently created the "Natural Woman Show - A Tribute to the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin".
My aim for 2019 is to widen my creative outlets to include anything performance based, hence listing presenting, acting and plus size modelling in my areas of work.
I began my performance career with Musical Theatre training having attended the Miss Saigon Training school. I have since gained a diploma from Vocal Tech and take voice lessons.
A performance highlight has to be singing to Michael McIntyre, David Hasslehoff and Amanda Holden with a standing ovation.
