Rebecca started singing as a little girl putting on shows for her family & singing in School choirs. Once Rebecca turned 13 years old she embarked on her dream journey learning how to sing solo and play piano. Wanting to follow in the footsteps of her idol Delta Goodrem, she started having private music lessons to learn her craft. It was during these lessons and through performing in various concerts solo that she realised she could make her dream into a reality and that is where the hard work began.
Once Rebecca had finished her studies at High School in summer 2006, she started studying at Leigh Sixth Form College for A Levels in Music, Art and English Language. Through the encouragement from her singing teacher and music teacher she developed more as a musician and person than she could ever imagine.
During her years at College Rebecca opened up a YouTube channel to post videos of her singing to get constructive advice on how she could improve as a singer. Through opening this channel Rebecca received tremendous amounts of support from people all over the world. To date her YouTube channel has had more than 104,500 video views and still growing.
In September 2008 Rebecca enrolled on a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Music at Salford University in Greater Manchester. Here she was a first study singer and set out on a 4 year journey studying her craft in more detail than ever. She graduated in July 2012 with a 2:1 Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Music. Rebecca specialised in performance and recording as her final year electives. In both of these subjects she received excellent results.
During her time at University Rebecca performed at many music nights, charity nights and private events. During her final year Rebecca had weekly rehearsals in Blueprint Studios in Manchester.
In May 2012 a song in which Rebecca had collaborated in called 'Let me fall' with American Producer Nate Zachar was selected for modernbeat.com's top 20 songs to watch.
During the summer of 2012 Rebecca was scouted for series 2 of The Voice UK.
Towards the end of 2012 Rebecca worked with London rapper Steffy Dizzle on his debut album track 'Victory' providing her vocals. This had it's first radio airplay in December 2012.
