Through StarNow I applied to be in a short film called "Working Girl" and this was filmed in December. I absolutely loved it! Since then I have got myself a lovely agent and am currently being considered for three different roles: a short film, a feature film and a modelling job. Thanks to StarNow for kicking off a very exciting future!
StarNow has proved to be very beneficial to my evening job in performing. It's opened doors for me with three paid roles, as well as being great experience. StarNow is very useful for sourcing the best local talent. So much so, it was even prescribed in my university for producers to use in the audition and casting process.
From Worldwide campaigns for Triumph Lingerie, to being "FROW" at Fashion Week with New Look, to being a featured model in Chris & Kem's music video, to ecommerce modelling for the biggest online jewellery retailer in the UK (which was thanks to a great connect I met via StarNow) and appearing in several magazines. Bring on 2018!
What I first thought would be a one day shoot turned out to be three hours of shooting for a trailer. I was then offered more dates to do a film which ended up showing on Amazon Prime the following year!
Since signing up to StarNow, I have danced and choreographed for/in music videos such as Louis Barabbas 'I ain't done' and Little Mix 'How ya doin'. I am currently working on E4's Fresh meat as an extra and have been doing so for the past couple of months. I have found that people now contact me through the site for paid work.
I found a model search on StarNow (Cosmopolitan Model Search). I entered it, got accepted into it, went to the heat, and made it to the finals! That was my goal. But then I also made it to nationals. I am so happy to say I was one of three winners of the Cosmopolitan Model Search. I won both national and international contracts.
As well as an internationally-touring ballerina, I also choreograph my own award-winning routines, show off my more athletic side as an Adidas model, my love of coffee in the new global Nespresso campaigns as well as my passion for fashion as Amanda Wakeley's new Wakeley Woman! I'll soon be featuring in BBC2's "Secrets of the Human Body".
Last year through StarNow I got a great opportunity to be in Red Ryan, a short film where I played the role of a young Ernest Hemingway. That lead me to be cast in a lead role in the Black Donnelly's movie. Thanks again StarNow, you guys have been great, couldn't do it without you.
I Joined StarNow as a paid member 6months ago, I have done so many great projects paid and unpaid, met some good directors and cast that I am still in contact with today. I was also contacted by the BBC and currently undergoing filming as we speak. None of this would have been possible without StarNow.
