Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Taryn started performing at the age of three. She spent most of her evenings in dance classes, voice lessons, or in choir. When Taryn was eight years old, she joined The Young Canadians, training and performing with them for the next nine years.
Taryn discovered her passion for acting during her years at Lord Beaverbrook High School. She joined her school’s competitive improv team and began performing in educational and community theatre.
After graduating from high school, Taryn moved to Red Deer, Alberta to complete a diploma in Theatre Performance and Creation. After completing her diploma she decided to continue her education in musical theatre.
After moving to Springfield, Missouri Taryn has completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre. Now pursuing a professional career.
