Think of me as a blank canvas for you to mold into the image you seek!

I am very easy to direct!

I can dance a little - have my own style/s, occasionally learning basic acro-yoga, I can be tough, weak, sweet, mean, normal, goth, kooky, helpful, smart, dumb, paranoid, conspiracy theorist, fun loving, eccentric, timid, loudmouth, shy, risk taker, old fashioned, modern, sophisticated, homeless, painted, outdoorsy, tom boy, girly girl, etc

In 2009 - 10, I was a:
Lead Role in a (CIT) Student Short Film called: Alien

I did lots of theater in my teen years at high school / college, Canberra Youth Theater and in local community theater in the mid to late 1990's.

Modeling experience

Beginner, starting out

I am new, but easy to direct, easy going. Size 8-10. Will travel to wherever needed, whenever. I'm easy going. I'm a canvas for your wears!

I am interested in everyday type shots / sports / fashion / commercial / promotional / costume / parts / glam / urban / gothic / or alternative, i'm rather open.

I currently have long hair (to 3/4 way down my back).

I have an interest to be body painted model for set scenes or ideas, if required.

I have high cheek bones & a long neck. I have a variety of different wigs, for different looks, if needed.

I'm always happy to try new or crazy things.

Most of my pictures on here are self portraits.

In January 2010 I was a promo model at Australia Day Live in Canberra.

I have done promo work in supermarkets for a variety of products / campaigns

I love dancing, just moving how the music tells me to. My friends like my dancing & sometimes get compliments from the occasional stranger in a nightclub. Have on occasion in the past in a nightclub been asked by some other people in their if I could teach them a few steps. I'm freestyle all the way. Love a bit of hard energy, top 40 pop as dance remix and a bit of latin or even tribal or almost anything really. I've learnt by watching on nightclub floors and music videos, self taught. I always wear flats, which are often, but not always - sneakers. I can't wear heels. But then wearing heels, it's impossible to do the fast footwork I love doing!

So far, just for fun on nightclub dance floors & at home. It's a great form of exercise, therapeutic, fun, and when "in the zone" even euphoric. I would like to increase on this.

I have sometimes done a few salsa rueda beginner classes.

Unfortunately I don't yet have any video.

2 Online Ads for Gecko Gang (Camera & Editing)

I've recently come across some of my old projects from my unfinished media production coure from 2009-2010. A short film : Passed Out, my 15 minute tv pilot creation: Intro, & a variety of live music videos (some, but not all music videos were for my tafe project that I called: Canberra Bands Live - A 3 camera set up - the 1st ep, with Bec as presenter, had 3-4 cameras, the others, I did a 3 camera filming set-up, solo, thank goodness for tripods. All care as were various types & of various quality! I edited & produced all, as well as filming.)

2009 - 2010: Personal Projects:
Pharoah Monch Interview (Camera & Editing for HipHopTVOnline - Sydney) (see on here)
NAS - (Camera & Editing for HipHopTVOnline - Sydney)
Canberra Elvis & Annette Raison (Various Charity Concerts - Canberra) (2009-2010)
CIT Fashion Design (Student Project - but, not my assessment) (Camera) (Canberra)

2009-2010:
Whilst studying Media @ CIT, I crewed on a largely variety of projects, in a large variety of roles, in both studio, from our weekly tv Talk Show - Raiders TV (often Camera 1 close up), to a variety of student projects (various) & OB, from national folk festival, canberra, to the regular weekly ob sessions in house (2009, camera) i never received any footage of any of these, only what I did from my own, Personal Assignments & Personal Projects, to which I did all camera work using my own cameras, & usually editing too.

2009-2010 : School / Assignment Projects:

Canberra Bands Live (My Project / Business Idea for school project) (A variety of local live music acts, at a variety of locations, including, but not limited to: Sunchaser & The Wayward Orchestra, Activate Jetpack, Scaramouche & more) (Producer, Camera, Editing, Recording Sound, in 2 eps, (I had to film myself as the presenter, which I did in post, at home, as my 1st presenter was very busy with her own school stuff) (2010)

Intro (My 15 TV Show Idea for school project) - i have 3 sections uploaded separately from the day, without the show intro/ outro, due to the short 5 or 10 minute max limit youtube had back then) (Producer, Ideas, Casting, Location filming for Intro / Outro / Segment Intros, etc) (2009)

Raiders TV (Online talk show, with Raiders footy team, in footy season, in school terms, in school Studio @ CIT) (various roles, often camera) (2009-2010)

Internal OB productions of CIT music students each week , & 1 CIT Hair show per year) (2009-2010)

National Folk Festival (All media students did this yearly thing) (Camera) (I attempted the course in 2000, for a short while, dropped out, went back in 2009 - some of 2010) (2000 & 2009)

Helping on a large variety of other student projects, for their assessments (2009-2010)

2000: The Safe Path (my 1st short film attempt - its on VHS tape)

I own 2 DSLR Cameras of different types and a big zoom digital camera. I own a small basic JVC HD video camera (but can use bigger better cameras where they are available), a 2nd hand larger semi-pro sd manual Mini DV video camera, a basic sit on-camera rode mic & good little tripod, & a not as good older, more basic tripod as a backup.

I own some large chroma backdrops, 2 basic low powered lights too, if needed - but have no-one to use it with.

I am currently a hobbyist photographer, who is currently looking into various options and areas to take it further and into a new dimension.

I have a few exhibition ideas in mind, for when I I get the funds. One of which, in particular, is very interesting, different and unique, but that is all I can say on that matter, till I have the funds to start it and put it together.

At this stage, my best work is candid, as I don't know anyone who will pose for free, as everyone I meet seems to hate having their photos taken - which is a little annoying, so sometimes you need to think of creative ways to take candid pictures of family an friends at an event, without them knowing and show them how great it is later..

I am interested in doing photography & video camera work for short / long / feature films, for concerts / parties / events, male & female (all sizes) model portfolios, pets, family / kids / couples / individuals, alternative / goth / punk, etc.

I am located in the Canberra region, but may able to travel to Sydney, Melbourne, and other areas of NSW or Vic, decently paid work, which includes deferred payment.

Tara has participated in 4 multi-artist exhibitions in 2009 - 3 at Photo Access, Manuka, Canberra and 1 at Tap Gallery, Sydney. and 3 multi-artist exhibitions in 2010 at Photo Access, Manuka, Canberra

I am also interested in just helping out in any area of film, or being a photography assistant.

For an example of things she has filmed / editied for other people see below:

(Tara filmed and editied all the live footage and vox pops, etc (Not the actual original music video clip, only live footage). And put this clip together for HIP Hop TV)

I filmed & edited an interview with Pharoahe Monch for Hip Hop TV on 10 Dec, 09. You can view it here:
