Previous paid speaking roles
Whist I have some experience performing in front of the camera, much of my work as an actor has been within theatre, for production companies such as 'Travelling Light Productions' and 'Seige Theatre', based in Oxford, who take part in the annual Shakespeare Festival, as well as 'The Tabard Theatre', based on the Isle of Wight with their Shakespeare productions.
I am also an experienced scare actor, and in 2019 I won an 'Oscare Award' for Best Scare Actor with AtmosFEAR's 'The Blood Shed' at Terror Island.
My work as a performer at Oxford Castle Unlocked (3 years) involved the characterising of a variety of historical figures, in interactive storytelling performances.
I have taken part in more dramatic interactive performances such as Murder Mystery events, some based on the Isle of Wight, while the majority were with the Oxford Castle team, and involved heavily improv-based and unscripted ad-lib roles.
Other theatrical events I am or have been involved with include the 'Isle of Wight Ghost Experience', with the infamous Ghost Walk Leader, Marc Tuckey, and the 'Ghost Fest', 'Terror Tuesdays', and 'Gauntlet of Terror' in Oxford. Suffice to say at this point, scare-acting has become something of an unexpected speciality of mine.
As well as performing, I have also assisted in writing and directing two plays for the South Wight Youth Theatre, entitled ‘A Fate Worse than Death’ and ‘Roman Roots’, the latter of which was performed in 2007. The production was funded by the National Heritage Lottery Fund and won the Terry Hyde Award for ‘Best Staging of a Musical.
As a keen and enthusiastic artist and performer, I will leap at the chance for a challenging role and a new experience.
