I started piano lessons at age eleven, and got into my first band aged fifteen. I've been in performing bands consistently ever since. I studied Music Composition at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon, earning a B.A. in 1991. In 1995 I began full-time travel in the U.S. with various cover bands playing hotels, bars, and private events. Throughout 1998 I played in a house band on the Oregon coast. In 2001 I joined a multi-act tribute ensemble, playing casinos and corporate events all over the Pacific Northwest. Four years later, I moved to Dublin to continue full-time work as a performer and as a teacher. I've taught piano to an average of fifty children and adults per year for fourteen years, including all exams offered by the Royal Irish Academy of Music. I've played over fourteen hundred performances in Ireland alone. I currently play with a Doors tribute act called Light My Fire, and a classic/modern rock entity called the Albert Ross Band, the latter which often offers street performances in addition to residencies, weddings, and special events all over Ireland and abroad.
